Main Interface

Unlike many other home inspection software programs, InspectMaster does not require you to travel back and forth between windows. Everything you need is right in front of you the whole time. Sliding vertical and horizontal 'windows' allow you to optimize your use of available screen space.

Essentially, the interface is divided into sections. The left side of the screen holds the Narrative and Document 'Libraries'.

The Document libraries are identified with icons. The Narrative libraries with icons.

Once you open a new inspection, a check box will appear next to each narrative and each document. To include a narrative or document in an inspection report, you check the box next to it. The narrative or document will then appear at the right side of the screen, in either the narrative or documents 'Report Windows'. These windows slide up and down so that either window can be 'closed' as needed to create more screen space.

Included at the lower left side of the screen is a 'Notes and Codes' section, and at the lower right side is the 'image' bar. Images can be imported one at a time or all at once. Checking an image will insert it into the report with the selected narrative or document.

Drop-Down Text Boxes

With InspectMaster, you can insert drop-down text boxes into your narratives when and where you need them. No need to create (and then scroll through) thousands of narratives.

Inserting drop-down text boxes is a snap. Simply click on the 'Insert Dropdown List' icon after you've inserted the cursor where you want the list box to appear, and then click on the 'Properties' icon next to it. When the properties window opens, add the items that you want to have appear in the list, choose the 'default' item, and that's it. You're in business.

Codes and Notes

With our built-in Codes and Notes feature, you can install entire volumes of your favorite code books, EPA and CPSC reports, etc. for easy reference at your time of need.

Search Filter

With our built-in search feature you can easily locate certain narratives or items that might ordinarily take up valuable time. Enter a keyword or keywords and get instant results.

Hierarchical Menu

With InspectMaster's hierarchical narrative menu system, you control what you see when you need to see it.

Documents

The documents window allows you to store an unlimited supply of documents to include in your reports, be they HTML files you drag off the internet, pictures you scan and save as image files, or documents you type in by hand. With built-in text editing, you have the ability to customise your documents to make them look just like you want them to.

Macros

Create documents to insert into the report, such as invoices, follow-up letters, etc. using built-in macros. The following image is that of the 'General Information' page, which is included in the program documents, and which can be customised to meet your needs.
